A smaller version of Partnership for the Future was started in the Chicago area in 2002 through Markel Midwest region located in Deerfield, IL. Markel Midwest is a wholesale-dedicated insurance underwriting manager focused primarily on excess and surplus lines coverage. Markel Midwest is known for excellent claim handling, responsive customer service, and experienced underwriters.
